How to read the state of your finances
Financial health describes how your money is doing right now — how it flows, what it is committed to, and how much slack there is. These are the signals worth watching.
What to look at
No single one of these is the answer. Read together, they describe a situation.
What comes in, and how steadily
Regularity matters as much as amount. Irregular income is workable, but it needs a different plan than a fixed salary does.
What is already committed
The share of income that is spoken for before the month starts is the clearest single measure of how much room you have.
What happens to the remainder
Where the unallocated money goes, and whether that matches what you would have chosen if you had decided in advance.
How a bad month behaves
Whether an unexpected cost is absorbed or has to be borrowed against tells you more than a good month ever will.
A picture, not a verdict
What Finzla does
- Describes what your own transactions and commitments show
- Shows change over time so you can see direction
- Explains what each signal means in plain language
What Finzla does not do
- Produce a credit score or affect your credit file
- Assess your eligibility for any financial product
- Replace regulated advice where your situation needs it
Finzla is not a credit reference agency and does not score you. If your circumstances call for regulated advice, seek it — this is information to bring to that conversation, not a substitute for it.
