Read-only by design, revocable by default
Finzla asks for the narrowest access that makes the product work, and gives you a way out of it at any time. Here is exactly what that means.
Security & Privacy First
Read-only, permission-based access. Funds remain in user accounts, and access can be removed at any time. Data is encrypted and securely handled.
- Read-only access
- No funds held
- Encrypted data
- Revoke anytime
How access is limited
Read-only access
Connections are established for reading transactions and balances. Finzla cannot make payments, set up direct debits or move funds, because that permission is never requested.
No funds held
Finzla never holds a balance on your behalf. Your money stays with your bank, under your bank's protections, at all times.
Encrypted data
Financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to it inside Finzla is limited to what is needed to run the service.
Revoke at any time
Disconnect a connected account whenever you want. You can also request deletion of imported bank data on its own, or delete your account entirely.
Who can see your information
What Finzla does
- You can see your own accounts, transactions and insights
- Employers who sponsor access see aggregate, anonymised usage only
- You choose which accounts are connected, and can disconnect them
What Finzla does not do
- Your employer cannot see your balances or transactions
- Your employer cannot see your commitments, prompts or insights
- Your employer cannot see whether you have connected an account at all
Sponsorship tells an employer that their programme is being used. It does not tell them anything about an individual's finances.
