What happens at each step
The steps above are the short version. This is what each one actually involves.
You choose what to share
Nothing is read until you connect an account and approve it. You can also skip connection entirely and upload a statement or enter transactions by hand.
Access is read-only
The connection can see transactions and balances. It cannot move funds, make payments or change anything at your bank — that capability is not part of what is granted.
Transactions are organised
Entries are grouped into categories and recurring commitments are identified, so the raw feed becomes something you can reason about.
You stay in control
Disconnect an account, delete imported bank data on its own, or close your Finzla account entirely. The choice is reversible in both directions.
